Revampz is locally owned by Zoe Hughes initially trained in Melbourne moving to North Queensland 11 years ago from Victoria, with 16 years experience in the industry.
Faith Williams is a vital part of the Revampz team, she started her apprenticeship with Zoe 4yrs ago as a trainee and is now fully qualified after completing Certificate in Hairdressing at Burdekin Tafe; where she received 2 Outstanding Achievement Awards.
Beauty
In our health and beauty section we offer a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, we have a special room dedicated to your total relaxation. It's filled with soft relaxing music, aromatherapy oils & candles. In this room we have all of your body & beauty needs catered for. We offer waxing, eyelash tinting & perming, facials, manicures, pedicures, aromatherapy massage, remedial massage and reflexology. We also offer a nail enhancement system that encourages nail growth, Biosculpture Gel is a natural, long lasting, colourful hardener for fingers & toes.
Hair
We offer the latest in hairstyling, cutting, advanced customised colouring and waving and can now offer permanent straightening with the addition of the Goldwell Straight ‘ n Shine system. We have the most up to date training and knowledge in all aspects of our hairdressing by attending the latest seminars & training sessions from experts at Goldwell; both internationally and nationally. Zoe also has had previous training with Loreal, Wella, Viola, PPS Hair Wear, Toni & Guy, Pivot Point and Fudge.
In previous years Zoe attended seminars and training sessions across Australia, in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane . Also attending international business conferences in Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.
On completion of this study it has allowed her to complete her ‘Color Passport' with Goldwell, being the only hairdresser in her area to have achieved such a high qualification. And has now graduated to a color master which now allows Revampz to offer some very exclusive ideas to their clients. Such as exclusive color formulas only available to hairdressers that have completed color lab and color co-ordinator courses, exclusive 3 day intensive programs. Being able to create colors that are completely fashioned by your own hairdresser, along with the latest application techniques with foiling, slicing, diffusion, clashing and harmonising.

We also love to help out in any area of the community we can, we welcome anyone needing our help for local charities, fundraising events or social occasions. We also love supporting any local events by way of attendance and making ourselves responsible for having everyone looking & feeling fantastic!
We also specialise in weddings and special occasions, as we have all your needs in one place with hair, make-up and body beauty. All enquires are welcome and a free consultation is available for all of your questions for the special day and to help plan ahead for your hair and beauty needs. Zoe has attended a very special long hair workshop with Sharon Blain, the best long hair designer in the country (from Art of Hair). We also use a variety of hairpieces so length of hair is not an issue.
Zoe attended a Kms long hair design work shop recently to be able to offer more modern funky hair designs for editorial work, and has now passed these skills to Faith who can create these for your next occasion.
